The BAFTA nominations for this year have failed to produce any potential female winners, even in the Best Actress category.

The move by BAFTA is not unexpected after the number of female nominees has incrementally decreased year on year.

BAFTA chief, Peter Thape told Cutting News that he wasn’t particularly arsed by the news, but admitted that women were pretty nice to look at.

‘We sometimes let them carry pens…and a clipboard, if they’re pretty,’ said Thape.

‘And coffee. They’re good for getting coffee,’ added Thape.
