Cladding salesmen with plenty of time on their hands

Purveyors of tower block cladding are finding themselves unusually quiet for the time of year.

Local cladding salesman, Peter Thape has seen a new range of cladding laced with dynamite, prove less popular than he’d hoped, with only several councils taking up the competitively priced product.

Thape has spent much of the last 10 days simply rearranging the shirts that he likes to hang up, in the back window of his car.

‘I don’t understand it. Cladding’s normally flying out this time of year,’ said Thape.

‘Still, this quiet spell has given me a chance to re-do the list of my top one hundred massage parlours,’ added Thape.
