Criminals fairly happy with the ‘no jail’ deal

Criminals have reacted favourably to the news that they will no longer go to prison for crimes that would warrant a short term sentence.

The National Union of Criminals (NUC) has been pleased that an agreement with the government has finally been reached.

NUC Chairman, Peter Thape had been looking for no jail terms at all, and admits that the government were tough negotiators.

‘As part of the deal, our members will not commit smaller crimes any more,’ said Thape.

‘We should probably all take a moment to think of those long time comrades who are still serving very long custodial sentences,’ added Thape.
