Former singer, Elton John is to further his new career in advertising by becoming the fresh face of JD Williams.
John will take over from Lorraine Kelly in the New Year, adding to his recent portfolio of Snickers, and John Lewis ads.
John, who has only released one new tune in 35 years, admitted that his childhood dream was always to appear in a range of massive corporate adverts.
‘As a child I thought a lot about selling frozen peas, and ambient products,’ said John.
‘Oh…and I also wanted half of Colombia up my nose,’ added John.
