Gatwick Airport have decided to fly passengers to their destinations by drone, instead of the more conventional method of aeroplane.

With drones dominating the airfield, Gatwick have bitten the bullet and decided to use the drones for short haul flights, and some European destinations.

Flight passenger, Peter Thape had been waiting at Gatwick all night, but will be taken by drone to Australia this morning, stopping off at Singapore to recharge the three AAA batteries.

‘You get more legroom than the 737’s,’ said Thape.

‘You have to pay extra though for the earphones – rip off bastards,’ added Thape.
