Government recommends that bath time ducks be replaced by real ducks

Small children can look forward to having a real duck in their bath after government research showed that plastic ducks are filled with deadly bacteria.

Health and safety people have suggested that a live duck, a swan or possibly a flamingo could be used as an alternative in a toddler’s bath.

Local dad Peter Thape, has accepted that the risk from stagnant water in a rubber duck is too high, and plans to introduce ostriches into his baby’s bath time.

‘You should cut open bath time toys, and just see what’s inside them!’ advised Thape.

‘It’s no wonder that all children who were once bathed go on to eventually die,’ added Thape.
