Government to build emergency extra parks

The government is going to build extra parks for all the meeting up and exercising that will take place with the relaxation of lockdown.

The army, and a team of volunteers, are building extra parks in cities all around the country, many in less than 10 days.

Volunteer, Peter Thape is helping turn a hospital into a park, with an exercise area, and some lovely toilets, complete with glory holes.

‘I had a square metre of lawn left over from the garden refurb, so I brought it down,’ said Thape.

‘Got a little bit of soil in an old plant pot too; it’s all welcome,’ he added.
