PPi companies, who need to make the public aware of a new deadline for claims, are considering the unusual practice of calling each person in the country to let them know.
Although this unfamiliar approach goes against the industry ethos, PPI companies believe that this act of kindness could be very popular amongst the public.
PPI boss, Peter Thape has been charged with placing thousands of staff into tiny cubicles, and asking each of them to phone us up with the good news.
‘Normally the public ring us, if they would like to make a claim. So it’s quite revolutionary,’ said Thape.
‘I think we’ll call each person once, and then cross them off the list,’ added Thape.
