As many people predicted, the rain has been much heavier since the UK left the European Union.
Weather experts correctly warned us that outside of the EU, rain would be less warm, probably wetter, and dry slower on the pavements.
Local Leave voter, Peter Thape, has accepted that the rain is worse, but believes that as we get closer to the summer the rain will be replaced by a phenomenon known as sunshine.
‘The rain is only temporary, and not linked to whether we left the EU or not,’ claimed Thape.
‘An umbrella, or some sort of coat and hat system could help you through this,’ added Thape.
