Retired sinks asked to come back to help with hand washing

The country faces a massive shortage of wash basins and sinks after the government issued implicit instructions to wash our hands more often.

Tensions have been rising around the country as massive numbers of people queue for access to a sink, a basin, or some form of tap.

Local hand owner, Peter Thape waited 11 hours for a gap near the sink yesterday, after he accidentally touched his own face.

‘There were hundreds gathered around the wash basin,’ said Thape.

‘Coughing, spluttering and fighting in our desperate need to wash our hands,’ he added.
