Ryanair have confirmed that passengers may take a bag, no larger than a cherry tomato, onto one of their planes.
The official size will be 25mm (h) x 20mm (w) x 15mm (d). A member of Ryanair staff will be at all check-in desks with an on-the-vine tomato to help with any customer confusion.
Air passenger, Peter Thape is pleased with the new bag size, after fearing that Ryanair might charge for the new facility.
‘I’m going to keep a folded up tissue in my new carry-on bag,’ said Thape.
‘Or, one of my favourite tangerine pips,’ added Thape.
