Shoppers limited to two photos of the queue each

Supermarkets are to restrict the number of social media photos of the queue to two posts per customer.

Each household will be allowed one photo to either go on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

The comments section must be littered with ‘I know. Same at Asda,’ or excited descriptions of how far the queue went around the supermarket of your choice.

‘Our queue went for 45 miles onto the motorway,’ said local shopper, Peter Thape.

‘And then you were strip searched on your way out,’ he added.
