The Thai schoolboys who are trapped in a cave will learn the necessary scuba diving skills, that will ultimately free them, at a local swimming pool.

The boys will be taken two at a time to the local baths where a specially geared up course should give them the requisite skills to eventually leave the cave.

After receiving a certificate, the boys will be placed back in the cave and asked to navigate the difficult and foreboding cave water.

‘Or, we could send people in; chefs, teachers, and eventually wives as they grow older,’ said a cave expert.

‘Or, they could just wear a diving suit that was invented in 1850,’ he added.
