Vegans are understandably furious after being told that they will not be allowed to eat the new £10 note, only months after being told to stop munching on fivers.
The Bank of England have rejected the criticism though, saying that making the new notes out of animal parts is a boss idea.
Current Bank of England Governor, Peter Thape used the launch to announce that the proposed £20 note will be printed on the side of a steak to help reinforce its true value.
‘So what, if a few hippies don’t fancy it?’ quizzed a nonchalant, Thape.
‘At least we’ve made it Halal. We didn’t want any bother from that lot,’ added Thape.
