Teams of volunteers all across the country, have been getting together to help Tesco get the prices of goods correct on their shelves.
The general public have been quick to form into volunteer groups and help at Tesco, where a shortage of staff has been blamed for incorrect lower prices on the shelves turning into higher prices at the tills. Peter Thape (35) has taken a day off work so that he could go down to his local Tesco and help the charitable superstore get things right again.
‘I’m a surgeon and had a quite a lot on today, but the patients will understand,’ said Thape.
‘There are times when the community needs to pull together and help each other out,’ added Thape.
