Reports that brown pigeons would not be allowed to fly in under a UKIP government have been denied by UKIP Spokesman, Peter Thape.
Thape has stressed that there will always be a place for brown pigeons here; on buildings, streets and under bridges.
But Thape adds that all window sills, ledges, and roof spaces should be occupied by a grey pigeon first, except where no grey pigeon is available, and then a suitably trained brown pigeon can sit there.
‘I’m a big fan of pigeons. My father used to race them; all different colours and sizes,’ said Thape.
‘The white one was best, though.’ Thape added.
