The government’s wishy-washy, generally do as you please advice is making many people prepare for an imminent second, stricter, wave of lockdown.
Local man, Peter Thape is determined not to miss out again, after failing to buy key essential household items last time around.
Thape told Cutting News that he ended up with hardly any food, cleaning products, or toilet roll after following the government’s strict advice not to start panic buying.
‘I’m not waiting for the government to tell us when we can officially start to panic buy,’ said Thape.
‘They forgot last time; I’ll bet good money they’ll forget to tell us again,’ added Thape.
