The government will announce the financial package for traffic light beggars this afternoon.
Chancellor, Rishi Sunak has been under increasing pressure to act after responding to almost every other sector of the economy.
Traffic light beggars have been hardest hit by the lack of traffic, and generally make up about 12% of the workforce, with many earning upwards of £40,000 a year.
‘We’ll take an average of the 3 previous years accounts,’ said Sunak.
‘Then we’ll pay 80% in cash, and some sandwiches,’ added Sunak.
