Beautiful dog shit trees and bushes have started to grow naturally in the wild as a result of the lockdown.
Like goats and deer returning to our empty streets, the often colourful and artistic shrubs are decorating local beauty spots.
Local arborist, Peter Thape has seen a rise in the fledgling vegetation especially around car parks, farmer’s gates, and temporarily covered waste bins.
‘The leaves have a plastic-like quality, and can be multi-coloured,’ said Thape.
‘Squidgy to the touch, but not edible – watch out for that,’ warned Thape.
