Spanish farmers are pissing their pants laughing after selling off misshaped peaches to the British public as ‘flat peaches.’
Spanish farmer, Pedro Thape watched in horror as his entire peach crop failed in bad weather, before making new stickers saying flat peaches with his Dymo label maker.
Thape is probably best remembered for his abundant crop of miniature potatoes, which he similarly rebranded as ‘New Potatoes!’ in 1978.
‘Just sprinkle some sea salt and a knob of butter on your New Potatoes…and bingo!’ said Thape.
‘Never thought I’d get away with it,’ added Thape.
