Father and son stick to a safe conversation about routes

A father and son have successfully managed to avoid talking about anything serious, important or emotional by talking at length about which route the son took to get to a new destination.

Peter Thape (38) has many issues he would like to ask his father about, and so decided to stretch out a conversation about which motorway was the best route to Chesterfield instead.

Thape’s emotionally retarded father obliged with several good suggestions and alternate routes to using the M6, as the conversation neatly filled the time before ‘coats on.’

‘There’s no point. It’s a box I just don’t particularly want to open,’ said Thape.

‘Gonna stick to these shallow conversations every time I see him. He’ll probably only live another 20-25 years, anyway,’ added Thape.
