Two couples who met at a house party, and ended the night by promising to all go out for dinner, will never meet up again.
Peter and Laura Thape met a lovely couple, who had two similar aged children to their own, and had the same concerns about the environment and the future of The Labour Party.
Peter enjoyed an intense 15 minutes of conversation with the man, whilst the girls got on famously, and the evening ended with cast-iron intentions to take the new relationship to a future dinner date.
‘I was immediately drawn to him. I could see the sadness behind his eyes. But I’m a bloke – I won’t be making any contact,’ said Peter Thape.
‘And Laura will have forgotten about it by Monday, so that’s that,’ added Peter Thape.
