Supermarkets have decided that shoppers who park in the parent/child spaces without a child in tow, will have to return any shopping to the shelves.
High-tech cameras will watch the highly coveted parking spaces and notify the cashier, who will then ask the shopper to return their goods to the shelves.
The food will have to be placed as originally found, with all the labels pointing the same way that they were. Supermarket manager, Peter Thape asked customers how they felt about the the new initiative.
‘Petty as it sounds, asking car parking offenders to return their shopping was the most practical suggestion we received,’ said Thape.
‘Most customers wanted offenders to either die or have a limb cut off,’ added Thape.
