Wales and most of Yorkshire may have been washed away, but in general it just looks like a blustery rainy day outside, so are the weather presenters just bored?
Peter Thape presents the weather for the BBC, and he told Cutting News that he’s been under increasing pressure to make the weather reports a bit sexier.
Thape admitted that the weather is similar more or less every day, and he has to make stuff up to make it sound remotely interesting.
‘It the sun comes out, they tell us to use the word heatwave. And if there’s ice, we have to say cold snap,’ said Thape.
‘It pisses me off, I just wanted to be a bus driver when I was a kid,’ added Thape.
