Excitement is building in the country with only a few days left before we start to panic-buy in preparation for the latest leading Chinese virus.
Local food eater, Peter Thape has been sneaking an extra packet of dried pasta into his basket this last couple of weeks, in training for the ensuing panic.
Thape told Cutting News that he might stretch to two jars of Bolognese sauce this week, which should see his family through the imminent shut down of society.
‘Probably got enough food for two weeks, as it is,’ said Thape.
‘But we’ll have to open those kidney beans that have been in the cupboard for 18 years,’ he added.
