Man gets son’s bike out without skinning his ankle

An unnamed man from Cambridgeshire has managed to retrieve his child’s bike from the overcrowded garage without taking the skin off his ankle or shinning himself with the pedal.

The man from the Grantchester area becomes the first adult to recover a child’s bike from any part of a house, shed or porch without leaving a chunk of their leg on some sharp bit of the pedal or chain.

Peter Thape is the spokesman for leading plaster manufacturer, Band-Aid, and he was naturally disappointed by the news.

‘If this incident actually happened, and there is no proof of this yet, then we’ll probably call a shareholder’s meeting,’ said a concerned Thape.

‘If this man, whoever he may be, tells others how he did it – we’re finished!’ added Thape.
