The BBC have received thousands of complaints, after a man who popped into view behind a live news reporter, appeared not to be wearing a poppy.
The man, who has been named as Peter Thape from Corley, was clearly visible for half of one second as he walked behind the BBC journalist towards his commuting train.
Thape was named and shamed, after a Crimewatch special, and has subsequently pleaded guilty to the charge of Appearing on TV without a poppy on the week leading up to Remembrance Sunday.
‘I am worse than Hitler, and fully accept the 2 year custodial sentence,’ admitted scumboy, Thape.
‘It would probably have been the full 5 year sentence, if I hadn’t grassed up those 3 schoolkids that I saw without poppies,’ added Thape.
