The Government has acted on behalf of the public, in asking visiting old people to leave your house earlier than they have been doing.
The new legislation starts in January, and will also include a ban on the elderly trying to say goodbye to you whilst standing in front of your live Xbox game.
Government Minister, Sir Peter Thape has suggested a small box/enclosure, near the front door, that elderly people can stand in during their visit, which can then be pushed into the outside area at the right time.
‘An hour, to an hour and a half should be fine. After that, we’re all just pretending,’ said Sir Peter.
‘If an old person wishes to hand over a gift envelope as they leave, that would be fine,’ added Sir Peter.
