‘Pets will have to wear masks when outside,’ say Government

The Government has insisted that all pets will have to wear a face mask when outside of the house.

This new preventative measure against the spread of Coronavirus will include dogs, cats, and caged animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

Local pet owner, Peter Thape is enraged after discovering that his budgie will have to wear a mask when flying outside the cage, although still inside the house.

‘I’ve managed to buy a 10 pack of budgie face masks, but they were expensive,’ said Thape.

‘You have to change them every 15 minutes, and the elastic’s fiddly around their ears,’ he added.
