Separate aisles for Asda/Sainsbury’s customers in new merged supermarket

Britain’s new merged supermarket, Asdabury’s will have separate entrances, aisles and checkouts for both types of shopper.

Shoppers will be able to enter the green coloured entrance and be channelled through several aisles of chips, or enter through the orange entrance and go through several aisles of chips at a slightly higher price.

Security guards will be posted between the aisles to make sure that the two never meet. Head of Security, Peter Thape has said that a reinforced window will be created where customers can wave to one another, if needed.

‘We’re working on a way of separating the car parks,’ said Thape.

‘If the trolleys get mixed up, they’ll be a riot,’ added Thape.
