Teacher training days to be restricted to just three per week

Teachers have reacted angrily to the news that they will be limited to a maximum of just three inset days each week.

Teachers, who traditionally follow their lavish holidays with teacher training days, and additionally close the school every other Friday for some nonsense or other, are threatening strike action over the new plans.

But any proposed strike will also have to fit into the new three day limit, meaning that teachers could now be teaching for up to two days every week. But parent, Peter Thape is delighted with the new proposal.

‘The inset days are a nightmare. Who wants to look after their own children on a week day?’ asked Thape.

‘If I’m working from home, I like to watch Netflix uninterrupted, not make lunch for ungrateful kids,’ added Thape.
