Who the hell knows what to make for tea, every night?

Parents are agreed that the hardest part of the day is having to think about what to feed the family for the evening meal.

With each child hating something or other, and proper meals taking hours to prepare and cook, many parents are wondering what the appropriate number of take-aways per week are.

Local mum, Murial Hislop spends more time worrying about dinner than her actual job, and then has to listen to the children’s ungrateful comments as it’s served.

‘The relief when I’ve eventually thought of what to make is just…enormous,’ said Hislop.

‘If other mums told you about the whole evening meal thing when you were pregnant, you’d have aborted,’ added Hislop.
