A Lincolnshire accounts clerk is using a sprinkling of authentic yogic terms to describe her new keep-fit regime to office workmates.
Kelly Dixon (38) is engaging the rest of the office with her new-found grasp of terms such as Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward dog pose), and Ardha Chandrasana (half-moon pose).
Kelly is sure that her discovery of yoga will help achieve the weight loss that Pilates, Tai chi, and Zumba could not provide. Colleague, Murial Hislop has been patiently absorbing Kelly’s new enthusiasm.
‘She knows six words. She’s walking round the office likes she speaks fluent Sanskrit,’ said Hislop.
‘Let’s hope it lasts longer than her tap-dancing. She’d do herself a favour not eating 3 cream cakes a day,’ Hislop added.
