Agents vote for an increase in player’s pay

The National Union of Football Agents (NUFA) have voted to increase player’s wages during these difficult times for them.

With football currently suspended, players are missing out on endorsements, sponsorship, and sales of merchandised products.

NUFA Chairman Peter Thape has urged clubs to further reduce the pay of those non-playing staff who do not have the same commercial potential as players.

‘We’re also urging fans to come out on Thursday night at 8 to clap for the players,’ said Thape.

‘These players are heroes, and they’re really missing the adulation,’ added Thape.
