Bowls season will restart without fans in attendance

After significant negotiations, the Crown Green Bowls season will restart without crowds.

Neutral grounds, testing, and training in small groups have all featured heavily in the run up to the June relaunch.

Sky Sports will show all the games to avoid fans gathering at venues, and the BBC will have highlights of the County Cup.

‘The bowls will have to remain two meters away from the jack at all times,’ said Bowls pin-up, Peter Thape.

‘And, there’ll be no sandwiches after games,’ he added.
