Grannies, nans, and ladies of a certain age in Derby, are a more nervous breed today, as Wayne Rooney begins his tenure with Derby County.
Rooney has told his wife and the press that he won’t be trawling round Derby looking for GILF’s, but many elderly women are still nervous.
Care Home resident, Murial Hislop (78) told Cutting News that she’s wearing humble, dowdy clothing today to try and dampen down Rooney’s enthusiasm.
‘I’m wearing two jumpers, and two pairs of trousers,’ said Hislop.
‘I can only hope he leaves us all alone,’ added Hislop.
