England propose a 200 team World Cup Finals

With only 196 countries in the world, England are hoping that a 200 team World Cup Finals will ensure qualification for future tournaments.

The Football Association (FA) have made further suggestions to FIFA, which include England’s opponents playing with one less player each round, concluding in England playing against only 3 Spaniards/Brazilians in the final. FA spokesman, Peter Thape admits that the Football Association have back-peddled on their original idea of leaving FIFA and having a one team World Cup at Wembley.

‘Look, we have to do something. We’re never going to win it again if it’s just down to the players,’ said Thape.

‘If this idea doesn’t come off, we should look towards buying players and families from other countries. We’re good at the money stuff,’ added Thape.
