A football fan who left the pitch without the flat cap that he had when he entered the playing area, is suing the football club for the loss of his possession.
27 year old, Paul Mitchell could not believe that his hat was knocked clean off by over-aggressive stewards after Mitchell had mistakenly wandered onto the pitch after buying a pie.
Mitchell’s case has been taken by no win – no fee specialists Bradstone Brooks, who have valued the missing hat at close to £1m.
‘I was a bit disorientated by the pie, and I heard Grealish say something about my hat,’ said Mitchell.
‘Before you know it, I’ve got no hat – figure that out,’ added Mitchell.
