Man City fans will not have to wear face masks in shops

Fans of Manchester City have successfully appealed against the compulsory wearing of face masks in shops.

The fans appealed on the basis that the rules that apply to the rest of society should not apply to them, or their club.

Peter Thape is one of the 500 lawyers that worked on the case on behalf of the United Arab Emirates.

‘These face mask laws are years old and should no longer apply to Man City fans,’ said Thape.

‘If there are any problems, we will buy the shops,’ he added.
