Plan to keep England winning to avoid any hooliganism working well

The World Cup masterplan to let England win their matches to avoid any fighting seems to be working out just fine.

The Russian authorities, who were criticized for their idea before the tournament, believe that their decision to keep England winning has been vindicated.

Serving up non-league teams up to the final, and giving England penalties appears to be suppressing the fans innate desire to throw chairs and shout ‘C’mon!’ at opposing fans.

‘There’s only a couple of sets of fans to fight with, even if you go out tonight,’ said a Russian official.

‘Can’t help thinking that you’d be able to start a fight on your own, though,’ added the official.
