Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has picked Mark Robins for this afternoon’s cup tie, in a last chance bid to turn around his fortunes as manager.
Robins, now 70, is hoping to pinch a goal, and perform a similar task to the one which saved and subsequently launched the United career of Alex Ferguson.
Robins told Cutting News that he’ll be happy to help Ole out, but only if he can grab a lift to the match.
‘Sorry, I’m broke; I played at a time when we just earned normal money,’ said Robins.
‘Can I squeeze in with you?’ he asked.
