VAR to be used to stop Scottish U12’s heading the ball

Soccer Player Head Shooting a Ball

Scotland is to be fitted with a Video Assisted Referee (VAR) to prevent under 12’s from heading the ball whilst playing football.

VAR will constantly scan Scotland to prevent any underage heading, and a referee based in Stockley Park will make a final decision.

Scottish Octogenarian, Peter McThape loosely remembers heading a balloon in his bedroom when he was younger, and now he has dementia, and lives in a Care Home.

‘I’d not have dementia if it wasn’t for that balloon,’ said McThape.

‘And the same goes for these 35 women here, too,’ added McThape.
