Police are recommending that if you’re going to handle Russian nerve agents you should always check to see that the batch numbers match, like with wallpaper.
The sound advice comes as scientists check to see if the recent Wiltshire poisonings have come from the same batch of Novichok.
Scientist, Peter Thape has asked that you check the barcode, and then if possible, the batch number and production date to make sure there’s a match.
‘It’s the same rules as wallpaper, or tiles,’ offered Thape.
‘And check your grout too, that could go funny in the shower area,’ added Thape.
