Swansea City have sacked new manager, Paul Clement after only 11 minutes in charge.
The club issued a statement at four o’clock this afternoon saying that the club would like to thank Mr. Clement and his backroom staff, for their tireless work over the last few minutes, but in light of the team’s perilous position in the relegation area a brave decision needed to be taken. General Manager, Peter Thape pointed out that football is a results game, and that Mr Clement had not secured any points in his tenure.
‘We had a look at the table yesterday, and then again today, and realised that the new man wasn’t really taking us forward,’ said Thape.
‘We wish Mr Clement well, and hope to have 3 more managers this year, before we eventually go down,’ added Thape.
